6th Grade Trip - Sloop Clearwater

As a part of our Aquatic Advocacy unit, the sixth graders sailed on the Sloop Clearwater's Mystic Whaler. They learned about the history of the Hudson River, navigation, living aboard a ship and how to raise the sails. They also participated in a water testing station and an artistic expression station.
