For the final project, students chose a topic (gender, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, beauty, ability and age) and researched the way their topic is currently portrayed in the media. Next, they considered ways to change these portrayals to be more positive. They created marketing plans including conducting market research, planning marketing tactics and timelines, selecting a target audience and goal and figuring out how to use psychology to reach their target. On expo day, they pitched their campaigns to their audience. We are so proud of their hard work!
